What you will be working on
You will join a team building a B2B digital commerce platform used by research labs, hospitals, and biotech companies worldwide.
The platform connects product discovery, ordering, digital content, and customer support into a single self-service experience. The backend is a distributed, cloud-native system on Azure built on microservices and event-driven patterns. You will own backend development end to end, from architecture discussions through deployment and ongoing operations.
What you will do
- Design and implement backend business logic in .NET Core and C#.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API.
- Develop and operate cloud-native applications on Azure.
- Integrate with messaging platforms, data buses, relational and NoSQL databases, and external APIs.
- Implement microservices and event-driven communication patterns.
- Write and support automated tests (Selenium, Playwright) and component tests (Gherkin).
- Contribute to architecture discussions, sprint planning, and continuous improvement within a Scrum team.
What we are looking for
- Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core.
- Advanced experience with ASP.NET Web API, REST API design, DI, LINQ, and Entity Framework, including performance tuning.
- Hands-on Azure Cloud experience: AKS / Docker Swarm, CI/CD (Jenkins or Azure DevOps), Git.
- Deep understanding of async programming, multithreading, and .NET memory management.
- Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
- A good communicator who can operate independently in a distributed, cross-functional team.
- Open to a hybrid setup and a mid-shift schedule.
